About

The Fourth Edition is The Hoya’s blog about Georgetown, D.C., and the happenings and history of both. We cover a bit of everything, from campus and city news and events to music, food and comedy. We like to think of ourselves as a useful resource for Hoyas on the Hilltop and have been keeping Hoyas in the know since 2012. We want to be your source for the fun, strange and quirky aspects of living in Georgetown and exploring the District of Columbia. We’re always open to new ideas, so if there’s something you want to see on 4E, don’t hesitate to let us know!

The Hoya is Georgetown University’s oldest student-run newspaper, founded in 1920. 4E is The Hoya’s youngest student-run blog, launched on January 20, 2012.
